Interact Club of Souhegan Valley

The Souhegan Valley Interact Club

ARE YOU BETWEEN THE AGES OF 12 AND 18? DO YOU WANT TO MAKE POSITIVE CHANGES IN YOUR COMMUNITY WHILE DEVELOPING YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS?

The Souhegan Valley Interact Club may be exactly what you're looking for! We are a community based service organization (sponsored by the Souhegan Valley Rotary Club) dedicated to developing our leadership skills while discovering the power of Rotary's motto: Service Above Self.  We have a great group of members between the ages of 12 and 18 who have participated in numerous service projects throughout the Greater Nashua Area over the past 4 years. Some of our past service projects include:

  • Helping the Nashua Police Athletic League (PAL) with preparing for their Easter Egg hunts.
  • Placing flags at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua to honor our veterans for Memorial Day
  • Baking thank you baskets for our local fire and police departments
  • Raising funds and assisting with preparing meals for local families with food insecurity through End 68 Hours of Hunger (Nashua)
  • Decorating windows to cheer up residents at Bridges by EPOCH (Nashua)
  • Helping the United Way in Nashua distributing flyer for their popup pantries
  • Beautifying the Nashua Rail Trail with Grow Nashua
  • Creating kindness rocks for Beaver Brook in Hudson and the Nashua Rail Trail
  • Walking dogs for Operation Delta Dog
  • Assisting with Nashua PAL to distribute Thanksgiving Meals to local residents in need

If you have a child that would be interested in learning more about our organization, we would love to hear from you. We meet every other Thursday at 5pm. Depending on each project, we meet at different locations.  Just check out our Facebook page to see up-to-date news on where we'll be: https://www.facebook.com/souheganvalleyinteract
